ENERGY STAR recommends having your cooling system checked every spring, before the hot weather hits. In Minnesota, that means booking before the first heat wave, when everyone else is calling too.
What We Check
REFRIGERANT AND COILS
• Refrigerant pressures: measured on both sides of the system
• Outdoor condenser coil: cleaned with water so it can release heat well
• Indoor evaporator coil: checked for dirt and buildup
• Condensate line: water drains away instead of backing up

MOTORS AND CAPACITORS (actual readings compared to each part's rating)
• Compressor amp draw: the most expensive part of your AC
• Compressor capacitor: a weak one is a common reason an AC stops working
